From 19th October to 24th, 19 students and 3 teachers from St. Mary Magdalene Academy visited our school. On 20th, the principal Liu Hu held a sincere greeting to them and endowed their hard-work on Chinese with a high praise. During the week, students from the UK lived at school accommodation, participated in Chinese classes such as calligraphy, Kong Fu, and traditional paintings, communicated with their Chinese partners. In particular, they spent precious times at Chinese families, which left them an expressing moment.  同题参见

In addition, they also visited Chinese historical sites including the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, the Summer Palace, Liulichang Cultural Street etc.. By then time when they were visiting Peking University, two students from Peking University, Lin Yi and Feng Zihang, who graduated from our school, came as volunteers to guide the tour.  同题参见

In spite that there was only one week, students and teachers from the UK enjoyed it. During their stay, most of them made a considerable progress in their Chinese, while some students even realized a few Chinese proverbs. As to their Chinese partners, they practiced their English as well. The memorable visit enriched both Chinese and British culture. Also in this week, guests from Lycee François Couperin in Paris, Cowichan Valley School District of Canada, Jesus and Mary College of Ireland and Education Ministry from Victorian, Australia paid a visit to our school separately. After the short tour, foreign guests were deeply touched by our advanced schooling theory, historical connotation and flourishing atmosphere.
